The Black Purple Gloss plays with a contrast that reveals itself at second glance: matte purple meets high-gloss black trim. The push-up shape with underwire accentuates your décolleté, while the mix of materials makes every movement look different in the sunlight. A bikini for days when you don't want to reach for black, but not for a loud color either.

Materials

Main fabric: 80% polyamide, 20% elastane

Secondary fabric: 100% polyester

Lining: 75% polyamide, 25% elastane

The polyamide-elastane fabric carries the matte purple surface and gives the bikini its stretch. The shine of the black frame comes from the polyester secondary fabric, which reflects light far more strongly than the main fabric.

Care

Rinse in clear, cool water after every swim, so salt and chlorine don't stay in the fabric
Hand-wash only, with a mild detergent for delicates, maximum 30°C
Don't rub or brush the glossy trim, or the shine may turn dull
Don't wring, press the water out gently into a towel
Dry lying flat in the shade, with the push-up cups laid in shape
No tumble dryer, no radiator

Manufacturing information

The Black Purple Gloss is handcrafted in Italy. The challenge here is the transition between two very different fabrics: the glossy polyester frame has to sit cleanly and evenly on the stretchy main fabric so it traces the contour of the push-up cups exactly.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Black Purple Gloss

What is the difference between the regular and micro bottom of the Black Purple Gloss?

The micro bottom is cut much smaller and shows more skin, while the regular bottom offers classic coverage. Both are made in the same mix of matte and gloss.

How does the gloss effect look in the water?

When wet, the contrast intensifies: the black trim shines even more, while the purple stays matte. This makes the lines of the cut stand out especially clearly.

What does matte purple go with?

Purple with black looks elegant and evening-ready. Gold jewelry and a black kaftan turn your beach look into a sundowner outfit.
