Variant

The Blue Angel pairs a refined blue with golden ruffles that wrap around the cups like little angel wings. The sewn-in triangle pads give the top its shape and secure support, so nothing slips out of place. Romantic, with just enough shine for your big moment at the pool.

Materials

Main fabric: 80% polyamide, 20% elastane

Secondary fabric: 90% polyamide, 10% elastane

Lining: 75% polyamide, 25% elastane

The blue main fabric is stretchy and lies smoothly against your body. The secondary fabric, with less elastane, holds its shape better and keeps the golden ruffles in place, so they don't collapse even after a swim.

Care

Rinse with clear water after swimming, including the inside of the ruffles
Hand-wash only, with a little mild detergent for delicates, maximum 30°C
Gently shape the golden ruffles with your fingers after washing, while they are still damp
Don't wring, so the sewn-in pads keep their shape
Dry lying flat in the shade
No tumble dryer, no iron

Manufacturing information

The Blue Angel is handcrafted in Italy. The ruffles have to be laid and stitched exactly the same way on both cups so the wing effect looks symmetrical. The sewn-in pads also call for a clean join between the lining and the outer fabric.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Blue Angel

Can I remove the pads from the Blue Angel?

No, the triangle pads are sewn in. That way the shape always stays the same and nothing shifts, not even while you swim.

Do the ruffles keep their shape in the water?

The shape-retaining secondary fabric keeps the ruffles standing. Give them a quick tweak into shape once dry, and they look as good as new.

What does the blue and gold combination go with?

Blue and gold feels nautical and elegant at the same time. Ideal for yacht days or a beach club lunch, paired with a white cover-up and gold jewelry.
