Variant

Your balconette bikini with a front zipper in neon scuba mesh. Scuba mesh is firmer than classic mesh and therefore holds the shape a balconette cut requires. The front zipper isn’t just practical, it’s the defining design element, paired with refined metal logo details.

Materials

Made in Italy

Scuba mesh differs noticeably from ordinary mesh fabric: it’s more densely woven, firmer in body, and dimensionally stable enough for a structured cut like the balconette. That property is exactly what makes combining mesh with shaping possible in the first place.

Care

Rinse with cold, clear water soon after wearing
Hand-wash with a mild detergent for delicates, no warmer than 30°C
Press out gently, don’t wring
Important with zippered styles: close the zipper completely before washing. An open zipper can catch in the mesh and pull threads when freed
Dry lying flat in the shade
Keep the metal logo elements and zipper away from perfume and sun oil
No tumble dryer, no iron

Manufacturing information

The Fluo Net Balconette is handcrafted in Italy. Setting a zipper into mesh is technically demanding: the mesh alone would give way under the tension, so the closure edge has to be reinforced without that reinforcement becoming visible from the outside.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Fluo Net Balconette

What is scuba mesh?

Scuba mesh is a dense, firm mesh fabric modelled on neoprene materials. Unlike thin mesh, it holds its shape and therefore suits structured cuts that wouldn’t be possible with classic mesh.

How does the top fasten?

With a zipper at the front. That makes putting it on and taking it off straightforward and replaces hooks or ties at the back entirely.

What defines a balconette cut?

A balconette positions the cups more horizontally than a triangle or push-up and provides stronger support from below. It creates a straight, open neckline and suits anyone who wants support without the bust being strongly lifted.
