Your velvet triangle bikini in soft silver, a material you rarely see at the beach. The plush pile catches light differently than smooth swimwear: depending on the angle, the silver reads lighter or deeper. A small rectangular metal logo plate at the front waistband provides the one hard accent, while removable pads leave the fit up to you.

Materials

Main fabric: 80% polyamide, 20% elastane

The velvet character comes from finishing the polyamide into a short, dense pile. That pile is exactly what creates the color's distinctive depth. The elastane content keeps the bikini stretchy and close to the body.

Care

Rinse with cold, clear water soon after wearing
Hand-wash only, with a mild detergent for delicates, no warmer than 30°C
Don't wring, press the water out gently
Dry lying flat in the shade
Especially important with velvet: don't store the bikini underneath other garments or press it flat, the pile develops crush marks that are hard to smooth out again
Once dry, smooth the pile by hand in a single direction to restore its even sheen
No tumble dryer, no iron

Manufacturing information

The Soft Summer Silver Triangle is handcrafted in Italy. Velvet brings its own demand to the cutting table: the pile has a direction, and every piece has to be cut the same way. Otherwise the top and bottom appear in different shades of silver, even though they're made from the same fabric.

Velvet as swimwear, does that actually work?

Yes. This isn't traditional upholstery velvet but a polyamide-elastane fabric with a velvet finish, developed specifically for swimwear. It's stretchy, holds its shape, and is water-resistant, while looking far more refined than standard smooth fabrics.

Does velvet take longer to dry than regular swimwear?

Slightly longer, since the pile holds more water than a smooth surface. Allow a little extra time and lay the bikini out fully so air can reach every part of it.

How does silver velvet differ from shiny metallic?

Metallic reflects light directly and reads hard and eye-catching. Velvet scatters it within the pile, so the silver looks softer, more muted, and more three-dimensional. If you find metallic too loud, this is your alternative.
